Two stray dogs have captured the hearts of dog lovers worldwide after they came to the rescue of a dog hit by a car, their brave actions saving his life.
A man’s pet dog managed to escape from home by squeezing through a hole in the door and ran onto a busy street, only to be hit by a car.
Stunned and knocked unconscious, the dog lay there as cars drove by and around him. That’s when two stray dogs noticed the pup. What they did next shocked both the dog’s owner and online viewers.
Security camera footage captured the heart-stopping moment. The two dogs rushed to the injured dog’s side, trying to wake him up and get him to move. After a few minutes, when the dog didn’t respond, one of the strays began to drag him to the side of the road and to safety.
The injured dog lifted his head a few moments later. When the dog’s owner saw the footage later, he was heartbroken. Miraculously, his dog survived without any broken bones and is expected to recover.
The video was shared on Weibo, China’s social media platform, where the stray dogs’ bravery and compassion touched the hearts of many viewers, with many hoping the two strays would be rescued and given a home.
