Caring For Animals In A War Zone

We had 2 rescue missions today. A wall that had been damaged in the earthquake 2 years ago, finally collapsed. Unfortunately this handsome boy was next to it. He suffered a fractured skull and a cut head. His wound was stitched and he has been given painkillers and antibiotics. We will see him again at the clinic. The little cat had been abandoned and had cried and cried all the night and the neighbours alerted us. Of course we went to collect her. She has been cleaned up, her eyes treated, rehydrated and fed. She is now safe and sound in quarantine at our sanctuary. Wish them both well, please.
