How to Make Gummy Halloween Candy for Dogs

Are you preparing the goodies for Halloween this year but looking for something different to give your fur kids? Then these gummy Halloween treats for dogs may do the trick!

Gone to the Snow Dogs shares her recipe for the yummy gummy treats and has three different flavors that she shares in the video below.

For these recipes you’ll need unflavored gelatinbone brothcoconut water and pumpkin.

Also get yourself an assortment of Halloween silicone molds like the ones in the video which are in the shapes of Jack O’ Lanterns, and tombstones . Food coloring is optional, but as Gone With the Dogs says in her video, for her black “tombstone” gummies she only needed one drop.

You’ll also need some taste testers in your kitchen. But if your dogs are anything like ours, that will not be a problem!

As Gone to the Snow Dogs says in her video, these are only meant as treats and she puts in the disclaimer that she is not a vet or animal nutritionist, and cautions, “it’s advisable to consult with your own authority when trying new foods, and also to ensure that your dog’s home cooked diet is balanced & includes all of the nutrients that are necessary for your dog’s health. As with ALL treats, feed in moderation, and don’t feed anything to your dogs that you don’t feel comfortable feeding them. These are treats, not meal replacements.”
