There’s no more unlikely sheep dog than Lady the Basset hound. She’s a natural at it but completely oblivious to the fact. Lady’s unsung talent recently came to the attention of her dad when they were out on his farm.
Michael Jobson, a mechanical engineer and part-time farmer from Gamlingay, England, accidentally discovered that his 3-year-old dog is a natural herder.
Michael’s small flock of sheep began to follow Lady across the field attending to her every move. Lady, being a hound, is much more curious about smelling the ground.
As Michael says in the funny video he shared, “This hilarious footage shows the oblivious dog wandering around in a field on multiple occasions, as dozens of sheep traipse after her, hanging on her every movement.”
