Pen Farthing is "on his way home now with his dogs and cats" after a charter plane picked them up from Kabul, his spokesperson has said.
British troops loaded up dozens of rescue animals owned by the former Royal Marine when the jet landed at the city's airport earlier, ensuring they escaped Afghanistan after the Taliban seized control.
