Special needs pets, like all others, deserve lots of love - and the loving bond between best buds Chris and Cole The Deaf Dog is undeniable. Cole is a therapy dog who volunteers his love for ear scratches and belly rubs at schools, hospitals and veteran homes. Though he's a hearing impaired dog, he participates in lots of fun volunteer activities, including music lessons with kids at a local school! Through volunteering with his owner Chris, Cole shows others to be compassionate towards those with special needs. This loving pup has become a pet celebrity, even receiving the Presidential Silver Service Award for 600 hours of volunteering!
