Seven Puppies Rescued In Siberia After Days Beside Body Of Mother Who Froze To Death

The whining pups clinging to mother’s body as if trying to warm her up were seen by a resident of Krasnoyarsk region.

Volunteers are hoping for a Christmas miracle as they call for new homes for seven puppies of a stray dog who froze to death after getting too hungry and exhausted.

The healthy looking puppies, four males and 3 females, were found in -20C cold next to the motionless mother dog by a resident of Yemelyanovo, a settlement north of regional capital Krasnoyarsk…

Eventually they were all taken to a warm shelter where they were given food and first aid.

‘They are fluffy with good undercoats, they’ll be of average size and will do well both in a flat or  as security guards,’ said the shelter staff.

‘We are looking for new owners and will keep an unobtrusive eye on how the puppies are doing.

‘We will also help the owners with sterilisation in the future.’
