Help Adopt Lexi Mama 💜💜

Via Petfinder

Lexi has spent more than 1,200 days of her life at the Town Of Hempstead Animal Shelter in Wantagh, New York. Via Petfinder:
Lexi first came to us as a stray in 2014, with her brother. She was reclaimed by her owner, only to reappear in 2015. This time, her owner didn't come back for her. As much as we love Lexi, we were obviously not happy to have her back. Lexi's day finally came, in September 2018, someone came from afar, fit all the criteria we needed to find her the right home, but, it didn't work out, and in July 2019 she was returned. See, Lexi Mama takes a long time to warm up to new people, which her adopter knew, but I guess they realized it wasn't for them. All we know is that Lexi Mama is a special girl, looking, once again, for that special person or family, willing to put in the time and be patient with Lexi. After all these years in the shelter, it's no wonder she may have some issues that need addressing. Lexi is currently looking for a solo pet home. This poor girl has been dealt a crappy hand in life for sure, and we are hoping and praying things begin to look up for her...
