The first picture Zoltan Kecskes ever took of a dog not only lead him towards an award-winning path in dog photography, it changed his personal life too.
The UK-based photographer stumbled into dog portrait photography when he was asked to take a photo of an American Staffordshire puppy by a woman named Agnes back in 2013. Not only did he fall in love with dog photography through the experience, he fell in love with Agnes too. The pair are married now and have two dogs – Alfie (the Staffie puppy) and Beau.
Since then, photographing dogs has been part of his portfolio. Although wedding and portrait photography are still his primary focus, taking dog portraits is something he thoroughly enjoys and always makes time for.
