Is there anything more beautiful than the friendships that form between children and dogs? A dog gives children unconditional love. They are a trusted confidante, protector, best friend and play partner. Children give their canine companions the same in return.

Photographer Andy Seliverstoff wanted to capture this heartwarming bond and decided to do a series on children with large dogs he entitled “Little Kids and Their Big Dogs”.

Seliverstoff has a Great Dane of his own, so he knows a thing or two about big dogs. He also knows every dog is unique and he tries to get to know the personality of the dog models as best he can before he takes his photos.
